The Art of Divine Living

I have been a seeker and I still am, but I stopped asking the books and the stars. I started listening to the teaching of my Soul.~  Rumi

I am a certified in Kripalu Yoga, Clinical Herbalism, Clinical Nutrition and as a Healer. I bring over 35 years of experience teaching and consulting in the Healing Arts, and I specialize in working with people in chronic pain and our elders.

My first book, Yoga In Bed arose from a growing desire to share my passion of yoga with a broader audience.  I delight in meeting people where they are and modifying tools to accommodate their needs. I am elated that Yoga In Bed, published by Findhorn Press in English, was also published by Gaia Books in Japanese.

I wrote Fountain of Youth Exercises to offer deepening support through a variety of the teachings that I value. I am very blessed to have studied with some of the most gifted teachers in the world. Their expertise in sharing ancient wisdom is an invaluable gift. My writing and columns are featured in a number of publications, including: Positive Health, Well Being Journal, Yoga and Health and First for Women, among others.

My passion for embracing new tools and making a difference in the quality of life is endless. Over the years, I’ve studied many forms of yoga and movement, nutrition, herbalism, healing, color healing, Feng Shui, meditation and breath work. While living in rural upstate New York, I blossomed my love of gardening while co-creating flower essences and growing medicinal herbs. My firsthand experience with living off of our land and working with Nature continues to be a highlight in my life.

I feel it is vital to nourish and strengthen every aspect of our personal evolution: body, mind and spirit. My consulting work is a culmination of this wisdom. I work with clients holistically to address all facets of their health.

On a personal note, I am the mother of two inspiring young men. When my first son was born I went on a mission to learn all that I could about Waldorf Education. I envisioned and co-founded the Waldorf School of Pittsburgh. It brings me great joy to go back and visit this extraordinary school.

I also co-founded two macrobiotic educational centers. One in Pittsburgh and one in Washington, DC. I have dedicated my life to education and helping others to realize and express who they are, and to blossom why they are here in the healthiest and most fulfilling ways.

I have led New Moon Women's Gatherings on the East & West Coast and was instrumental in inspiring and supporting a number of women to begin a group in their community.

I delight in exploring my artistic passions, primarily photographing flowers. I aspire to photograph flowers all over the world and share my images globally. World renown musician, composer and artist, Devakant has helped to actualize that vision by showing my images during his concerts in conjunction with talks by Eckhart Tolle.

I lead an organic, simple and conscious lifestyle. My desire to bring forth an end to factory farming inspired me to produce and co-direct Called To Rescue. You can read more about our documentary on my community page.
